Meet Cassowary, Koala, Kangaroo, and Echidna—a delightful quartet of 2-month-old kittens who have escaped the zoo and are looking for a home either on their own or in any combo, trio, or as a foursome if you so wished. These little adventurers arrived at Mayhew in late April after their owner was struggling to cope with looking after the whole family. They have been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team.
Let's start with the boys: Cassowary seems to be the biggest and most laid back of the group. He is big bro to everyone and silently in charge of the gang. Koala is the cheeky boy who gets involved and wants to play and say hello. Kangaroo is not far behind and is curious and playful too. Echidna lets her brothers lead the way but she is no shrinking violet. She has a sweet, friendly nature and likes her fuss. They are all loving and affectionate and would be fine to live with kids who'll let them find their feet and enjoy some playtime. So, if you want to go on a trip down under, keep reading to see if you could be their purr-fect match and give any of them the fur-ever home they deserve!
