Beautiful Bear is sweeter than honey, and has been a dutiful mamma to her gorgeous cubs who are all ready to fly the nest. She is ready to begin her next solo adventure, although nothing too grizzly as she prefers home comforts and loves to be pampered with lots of brushing and chin scratches. She is a very foody girl, and enjoys most snacks but fish is her favourite! She can be quite a chatty girl, and would be happy to live with a family with children who will spoil her with conversations. Bear arrived at Mayhew at the middle of March with her kittens after she was brought in as a stray. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Bear is a sweet, gentle girl. She loves human company, cheek rubs and treats, and always maintains a calm and dignified air, except when the vacuum cleaner comes out! Her foster carer reports that she was super stressed in the shelter environment but within 5 minutes of stepping out the cat carrier in their home she was completely relaxed, or as relaxed as any mother of six tiny kittens can be! She is an incredibly attentive and affectionate mum. Even now that the kittens are older, at an age when other mums they've fostered have started to want their own space, she just wants to be around her kittens, give them washes, and keep a careful eye on them at all times!
Bear has been behaviourally assessed and given any medical treatment required. She is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, and has had flea and worming treatment. She also comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance. There are no ongoing medical needs, just lots of love and care.
