Gentle Blossom is a sweet girl who likes to spend her time contemplating the world around her. This little philosopher is good at finding the cosiest spots and sunniest windowsills to spend her time pondering what her humans will be feeding her next. When she's not thinking about the meaning of life, Blossom uses her time wisely, with lots of playing! She is partial to a ball toy and could chase them endlessly if she had the time spare. She doesn't have much of a taste for cuddles and fuss, and prefers to show her affection from afar.
Blossom arrived at Mayhew at the beginning of May after she was no longer getting along with another cat in the home. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. Blossom is a beautiful young black cat with lots of personality. She can be shy and cautious initially and will need a calm, patient home where she can settle at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her playful and curious side really comes out; she loves chasing toys, exploring, climbing and supervising everything going on around her. Blossom enjoys being near her people and is starting to become more vocal and interactive as her confidence grows. She is not currently a very hands-on cat and can be nervous of touch, so she needs an understanding owner who will respect her boundaries and let trust develop naturally. In the right home, Blossom will make a very rewarding companion.
