Bullet has truly blossomed since arriving at Mayhew in mid March, revealing himself to be a confident, affectionate boy who will eagerly come up to rub against you and savor a nice little head scratch. He values his space and independence, often embarking on adventures to explore the world around him, but he also appreciates interactive play with humans and loves giving sweet nose kisses. Despite a diagnosis of stomatitis that required the removal of his teeth, Bullet maintains a great appetite and enjoys little treats along the way too. He arrived at Mayhew as his previous owners were emigrating, and after being behaviorally assessed by our cattery staff and receiving necessary medical treatment from our veterinary team, he is ready to find his forever home. If Bullet is hitting all the right targets with you, keep reading to see if you could be his purr fect match and give him the loving home he deserves.
Bullet arrived at Mayhew with a history of dental disease, having already had multiple teeth extracted. He was diagnosed with stomatitis, an inflammatory condition of the mouth, and had to have the last of his teeth removed as well. Full mouth extraction is the recommended treatment in most cases for stomatitis, and most cats show a marked improvement in comfort and quality of life following this procedure. Bullet is much happier as it stands and is also having an extended course of anti inflammatories to help him on the road to recovery. He eats well and enjoys treats, so his dental condition does not hinder his zest for life.
All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations, at least the first dose. Every cat adopted from us, including Bullet, will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Come meet this charming explorer and see if he is the missing piece in your family puzzle.
