Meet Casper! Casper is a truly special cat with a big personality to match his big heart. Deaf and three-legged, he doesn’t let anything slow him down and gets on wonderfully with life. He’s playful, curious, and loves engaging with the world around him in his own unique way. Casper is a sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys attention and interactive play. Like many cats, he can sometimes become overstimulated, so he’ll do best with a family who can read his signals, give him space when he needs it, and help him wind down calmly. If you’re looking for a loving, playful cat with a little extra character and are happy to meet his needs with patience and understanding, Casper could be the perfect addition to your home.

Support and Health Do I have any medical conditions? Existing conditions This pet has historic and current medical concerns, namely he’s had an amputation (3 legs), Deafness, previous tooth fracture and gingivitis (resolved with dental) and he is a little overweight that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? Yes Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? Yes Additional information Casper would prefer to be the only cat in the home. He could live with a calm cat-friendly dog. Small pets should be securely housed.
Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Casper has struggled with sharing his space with young children so would likely be most comfortable with families that have children aged 7+ who can understand when Casper is in need of some time and space alone. What type of environment would suit me? Being deaf and 3-legged, Casper is looking for a home where he can enjoy the outdoors in an enclosed or secure cat proofed garden/large catio.
Things to note Casper will need a large carrier to be transported in. Due to being a white cat, he will need pet-safe sun cream applied to his ears. This cat is currently living in a foster home and will be allocated a temporary unit at the centre on the day of book-out. Most cats find unfamiliar environments quite stressful and this can affect their behaviour in the cattery, however given its confident and sociable nature this cat will be suitable for a meet prior to rehoming.
