Forget Ring doorbells and security cameras — the most effective home protection comes in the form of a handsome, suspicious-staring cat named Charlie. This 3–4 year old young man spends his days monitoring the neighbourhood for criminal activity, rogue pigeons, and anyone daring to walk past his house. With his intense window patrols, you’ll never feel unsafe again (though the mailman might).
Charlie took a few days to settle into foster care, but once he realised the humans were there to provide food, warmth and unlimited fuss, he quickly embraced the lifestyle. He now actively demands attention with enthusiastic headbutts and will happily soak up as much affection as you’re willing to give. While he does have playful moments, Charlie’s true passion in life is window patrol duty. Whether it’s watching birds, judging your neighbours, or supervising absolutely nothing at all, he takes his role very seriously.
Behind the highly professional security exterior is a sweet, loving boy who will make a wonderful companion. Charlie has plenty of love to give — along with free 24/7 surveillance services included at no extra charge. Plus, he can be homed alongside his sibling Rosie (they are not bonded but get along well), giving you double the supervision team.
Charlie is neutered and partially vaccinated. The first vaccination has been completed, but the second will need to be arranged and covered by the new owner. Our foster team can provide more details on this.
Charlie would thrive in a home that offers:
As a foster-based charity, each cat lives in a home environment before adoption. This helps us see how they cope with things like children, other cats, and dogs. Because we don’t always know a cat’s full history (especially if they were a stray), our guidance is based on what we’ve observed in foster care.
If a cat has lived happily with children, we’ll note they’re suitable for family homes. If a cat is very timid and hasn’t been around children, we may suggest an adult-only home. The same applies for cats and dogs — suitability depends on their behaviour and what we’ve seen first-hand.
As a foster-based rescue, when one cat is adopted their space is quickly filled by another in need. Our priority is always to match each cat with the home where they’ll feel safe, settled, and happy. If you’re interested in meeting Charlie (and perhaps his sister Rosie!), please reach out to arrange a viewing.
