These three sweet kittens came to us from a tough start, missing out on early socialization. They're learning that people can be kind and safe, but they need patient, loving adopters to help them blossom. Watching them gain confidence is incredibly rewarding — and they're all food-motivated, so treats go a long way!
Croissant is a young kitten who didn't get the best start in life and missed out on some early socialisation, so he can be nervous around people at first. Loud noises or sudden movements may startle him, but underneath that uncertainty is a playful, curious little cat who is learning every day that humans can be kind. Watching him grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding. He loves food so this is a wonderful way to gain his trust!
Cheese Twist is a gentle little kitten who is still learning that the world — and people — can be safe. Found as an under socialised stray, she can be nervous and cautious at first, but little by little her confidence is starting to emerge. She absolutely loves playing with her siblings and is happiest when she's chasing toys, watching the action from a safe spot, or joining in once she feels comfortable. While she's still shy, she's beginning to show signs that she enjoys affection too — especially a soft ear scritch when she's feeling brave.
Pain au Chocolat is a very worried little kitten who is still trying to figure out whether the world is a safe place. Having missed out on important early socialisation, she currently finds people quite scary and spends much of her time hiding where she feels safest. Right now, Pain au Chocolat isn't the kind of kitten who will run up for cuddles or attention. She needs patient, understanding people who can accept her exactly as she is and allow her to move at her own pace, without pressure or expectations.
Please contact the shelter to arrange a meet-and-greet. Since these kittens are shy, we recommend a quiet viewing time where they can choose to approach you. They can be adopted singly, as a pair, or as a trio — but keep in mind that having a confident cat friend at home can really help them settle.
