Domestic Short Hair·7 years, 11 months·♂ Male·WhiteGrey┊Tabby
Crunchy is a handsome Domestic Short Hair gentleman who arrived at our shelter in March 2026. At 7 years and 11 months young, he's a mature cat with a gentle soul and a few quirks that make him uniquely lovable. He's currently navigating the world with a bit of nervousness, so he's dreaming of a stress free home where he can truly blossom.
This sweet boy has a heart murmur, which our veterinary team is monitoring closely, and he'll need a dental procedure before he can head to his forever home. Don't let that deter you though; Crunchy has plenty of love to give once he feels safe and secure.
Crunchy is timid and nervous by nature, which means he thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He's scared of children, so he's looking for a quiet adult home where he can relax without little ones running around. Older, calm teenagers are perfectly fine companions for him. To help him feel at ease, he needs to be the only pet in the household, as other animals might add to his stress.
Despite his shy side, Crunchy has some delightful hobbies. He loves to explore the great outdoors and needs access to a safe back garden away from busy roads. He's already used to using a cat flap, so he can come and go as he pleases in a secure setting. Be warned: he's a prolific hunter, so any home with small pets like rodents or birds is not a good match for his natural instincts.
Once Crunchy bonds with his human, he reveals his affectionate side. He's happy to lay next to his owner on the bed, sharing quiet moments of companionship. He adores Dreamies treats, and his favorite hiding spot is under a bed, where he can observe the world from a cozy, safe distance.
Crunchy has an existing heart murmur that requires ongoing monitoring. He will need a dental procedure before adoption, which will be arranged by the shelter. Potential adopters should be prepared for possible future veterinary care related to his heart condition.
Crunchy is available for viewing at the shelter. Interested adopters should contact us to schedule a visit and discuss his medical needs in detail. His adoption will be finalized after his dental procedure is completed.
