Dusty is a lovely little lady who enjoys life to the fullest. She is quick to make friends and is partial to a warm lap and some good ol' fashioned fuss. Dusty is also known to be quite the talker and makes a good alarm clock so nobody ever forgets breakfast. Dusty currently lives in a foster home with her sister, Nancy, and they could live together or on their own but would prefer a more grown-up home where she can settle and show you what this girl is all about.
Dusty arrived at Mayhew at the end of April alongside her sister Nancy after her owner could no longer keep them. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team.
Dusty has a history of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD), which is a reaction to flea bites. This is simply managed with regular parasite control, and she also had a longer lasting steroid injection to help before arriving back in our care. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first).
Dusty is currently in a foster home. Every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. To arrange a viewing or for more information, please contact Mayhew.
