Elegant Egret is a gentle girl, who needs some time to find her feet and come out of her shell. She is a bit worried about the world, and spends a lot of time hiding in her safe place. She is getting braver by the day and will peak her beak out of her safety egg to say hello to familiar, friendly faces. Other Notes Egret arrived at Mayhew at the end of December after she had been found living as a stray. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Foster Carer Comments Egret is a gentle soul who starts off shy but truly blossoms once she feels safe. After settling into a calm, quiet home, her affectionate nature shines through. She loves attention, enjoys being stroked and groomed with her brush, and can often be found happily making biscuits on the sofa. Egret is a relaxed, laid-back girl who isn’t particularly food motivated and prefers affection and companionship instead. She would be best suited to a peaceful home where she can take things at her own pace and enjoy lots of gentle fuss and comfort.
