ElliCat is an eleven year ten month old lady with a gentle spirit and a story to tell. She arrived at our shelter in January 2026 after her previous owner had to move away, leaving this sweet girl in need of a new chapter. Don't let her age fool you; ElliCat is a friendly feline who absolutely adores strokes and affection, making her a delightful companion for quiet moments.
She's a bit of a homebody at heart, preferring the comforts of indoors but appreciating access to the outdoors for a little fresh air and sunshine. You won't find her wandering far; she's more about cozy naps and gentle purrs than grand adventures. ElliCat has lived with children before and would be happy to do so again, showing her adaptable and patient nature. However, she's looking for a home where she can be the only pet, allowing her to bask in all the attention she deserves without any furry competition.
ElliCat has a grade 1-2 heart murmur, which is a common condition in older cats and does not require any treatment or medication; it's just something to be aware of during vet check-ups. She had some diarrhoea in the past, but she's now thriving on a Katkin diet, and our vet team strongly recommends continuing this diet in her new home to keep her feeling her best. Additionally, she has had some dental work, including extractions, so regular dental care will help maintain her overall health.
