Meet Kya, a sweet 2-year-and-9-month-old Domestic Short-hair with a heart full of potential! This little lady may be a bit nervous when you first meet her, but don't let her initial shyness fool you. It doesn't take her long to warm up to new people, and once she does, she'll be asking for lots of strokes and chin rubs. While she hasn't shown us her playful side yet, Kya is a young girl with lots of energy, and she'll need her new owners to spend plenty of time playing with her to help her blossom.
Kya can be easily spooked, so she needs a patient and understanding home. She settled fairly quickly into the cattery, and with the right environment, she should be fine to settle into a quiet corner of the home with lots of places to hide. Think cozy cat caves, soft blankets, and safe perches where she can observe the world at her own pace.
Kya is a healthy young cat with no known medical issues. She will need the usual vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and regular vet check-ups. As she has lots of energy, ensure she has plenty of interactive toys and stimulation both indoors and out.
