Lexie is a gentle, sensitive girl who can be a little worried and nervous when she first meets new people. New environments can feel a bit overwhelming for her, so she needs someone patient who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. But once Lexie knows she can trust you, her true personality shines through. She absolutely adores fuss and affection and will happily soak up all the love you're willing to give. The shy girl you first met soon turns into a loyal companion who just wants to be close to her person. Lexie would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. With kindness, reassurance, and plenty of cuddles, she will reward you with the sweetest bond.
Lexie has historic/current medical concerns, namely deafness, obesity, overgrooming (this was only when shaved for medical reasons), lameness due to a previous fracture repair and intermittent respiratory noises which has resolved, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment. Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
