Liam (a sleek black gentleman) and Noel (a dashing black and white charmer) are a pair of nine month old brothers with hearts as big as their playful spirits. They arrived in June 2025 after their previous home didn't quite work out with the children, but don't let that fool you—these boys are bundles of affection and energy, eagerly awaiting a patient, loving family to call their own. They're such friendly boys who love attention and a fuss, and they adore playing together, making them the perfect pair for someone ready to double their feline fun.
However, Liam and Noel are looking for a very special home with owners who are happy that Liam has some medical needs and needs a patient owner who's happy to help him fully heal and get back to being a kitten! For the next four weeks, they need a room to live in with no access to jumping, and their perfect owner would be someone who is home quite a lot to keep them company (and to keep an eye on them!). Once Liam is all healed, they will need access to both indoors and outdoors with a secure garden away from busy roads so they can safely explore the outside for the first time! They can't wait to find their forever home, and with a little extra care, they'll be ready to leap into your heart—figuratively, of course, since jumping is off the table for now.
Liam has luxating patellas in both back legs and has required two surgeries to fix this. He is currently still on room rest and needs to not jump too much or strain himself for the next four weeks so he doesn't reinjure himself! He will be on our part foster scheme and will need to be seen at Optivet for any future issues with his legs; he can be seen here at the centre for any minor issues. Liam is on a supplement called Yumove as he is at risk of developing arthritis early due to his surgeries, and we recommend he stays on this—his new owners will need to buy it as it is a supplement, not a prescription.
Noel has the same condition in both his back legs, but his isn't as severe and hasn't required surgery. Noel also has a kink in his tail which our vet has said is just an old injury and doesn't require any treatment.
These boys are ready to meet their match! Given their medical history and need for a four week room rest period, potential adopters should be prepared for a bit of extra TLC. Contact the shelter to arrange a viewing and discuss how you can provide the perfect rockstar home for Liam and Noel.
