Maggie-May arrived at the shelter in November 2025 after deciding her previous home wasn't quite to her liking. She's a friendly but independent cat who knows her own mind and will let you know when she's had enough attention. This homely girl prefers to stay close to her territory, so she's looking for an owner who understands the beauty of a cat who comes to you on her own terms.
Maggie-May is a sweet soul who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. She won't demand constant cuddles, but when she chooses to curl up beside you, it's a true honor. Her purr is a reward for patient, gentle humans who respect her boundaries.
Maggie-May has chronic gingivostomatitis, a condition that causes inflammation in her mouth. She is currently on medication to manage this and will be on our part foster scheme, which means her new family will receive ongoing support. She is due a recheck with our vet in June 2025. She has previously had some other medications as well, so a dedicated adopter comfortable with veterinary care is essential.
If you think you could offer Maggie-May the peaceful haven she deserves, please contact us to arrange a meeting. We'll discuss her part foster scheme and any support you may need to ensure a happy transition.
