Obsidian is currently a nervous gentleman adjusting to shelter life, but beneath that cautious exterior lies a cat who was once a friendly, affectionate companion who adored lap cuddles on the sofa and playful leaps in and out of cardboard boxes. We're giving him time and space to rediscover his confident, loving side, and we believe the right home will help him blossom back into the snuggle bug he used to be.

Perfect Match

• A quiet, calm family with children aged 7+ who respect his need for space, especially during his initial settling period.
• A home in a rural or low traffic area, or with a safe, private garden, as he's not road wise and prefers peaceful environments.
• Potential cat friendly feline housemates, provided introductions are slow and there are ample resources for peaceful coexistence.
• Possibly a calm, well behaved dog, but only after careful introductions once he's settled, given his skittish nature in new situations.

Obsidian has no medical conditions. He requires a patient adopter who understands his nervousness and can offer a stable, low stress environment to help him thrive.

Obsidian is a 1 year and 9 month old male Domestic Long Hair. He's lived with other cats before, generally avoiding interaction without conflict, and could adapt to a multi pet household with proper care. Viewings can be arranged to meet this gentle soul in person.
