Penny (3 years 4 months) and her son KM14-26 (14 weeks) are a mother-son pair searching for their forever home together. They arrived at the centre in January 2026 when Penny’s owner was unwell and had too many cats, and little KM14-26 was born right here in February 2026. These two are friendly but can be shy at first—once they trust you, they’ll melt your heart.
Penny is a reserved lady who prefers slow movements and gentle approaches. She’s the type to observe from a cozy spot before deciding you’re worthy of a fuss—but once she knows you, she loves a good chin scratch and affectionate attention. KM14-26, on the other hand, is a typical crazy kitten full of energy and curiosity. He can be a little skittish initially, but as soon as he feels comfortable, he’ll roll over to show his belly and demand belly rubs. They’re a perfect balance of calm and playful.
Both had a bout of sickness which requires ongoing anti-sickness injections. KM14-26 also had swimmers syndrome as a kitten, which required physio and splints to correct his leg positioning. Due to the swimmers syndrome, he had a slight flat chest, but he has since grown out of it completely and is now a healthy, happy kitten.
These two are available for adoption now. To meet them, please contact the centre to arrange a visit. They’re waiting for a loving home where they can thrive together.
