Domestic Short Hair·11 years, 8 months·♀ Female·WhiteGrey┊Spotted
Cookie is an 11 year and 8 month old Domestic Short Hair lady with a gentle soul and a heart full of affection, waiting patiently for the right quiet home to blossom in. She's a little timid and easily worried, so she needs a calm, adult home where she can feel secure and loved. Once she trusts you, she transforms into an affectionate companion who enjoys fuss and even hops onto a lap when she's feeling confident.
This pretty older lady is looking for a peaceful retreat where she can relax and bond with her owners in her own time. She responds beautifully to a patient and gentle approach, and when she's feeling brave, she's out and about exploring her unit with curiosity. However, she is easily spooked by noises or sudden movements, so she will need a quiet approach while she settles into her new environment. Cookie benefits from plenty of safe hiding places to retreat to if she wants, allowing her to gain confidence at her own pace and show her true affectionate personality.
Cookie would also love access to a quiet back garden away from the road, but she needs easy access back indoors if worried. She hasn't used a cat flap before, so some gentle guidance might be needed. Her ideal home is one without too much coming and going, where she can feel undisturbed and cherished.
Cookie has current medical concerns, namely she requires a dental procedure which will be done prior to her being rehomed. This will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome Cookie and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
If you think you could offer Cookie the serene sanctuary she deserves, please apply through our rehoming process. Our team is ready to help match you with this sweet lady and provide all the details you need for a smooth transition into her forever home.
