Meet Peanut, a six-month-old Domestic Short Hair male who might start off a little shy, but don't let that fool you. Once he warms up, his huge personality bursts through like sunshine after a rainstorm. This little guy absolutely adores people, following you everywhere with the dedication of a tiny, furry assistant. He's very chatty too, ready to converse about your day or the mysterious red dot on the wall. Peanut is incredibly playful, loving nothing more than chasing foil balls and even playing fetch with his mouse toy, proving he's part cat, part retriever in spirit.
Peanut is a very needy and sociable chap, thriving on interaction and companionship. He would be best suited to a home where he isn't left on his own for too long, ideally with a few people around to shower him with the attention and playtime he craves. He needs some settling in time to adjust to new surroundings, as he can be worried in a new environment, but with patience, he'll soon feel right at home. Peanut has never lived with other animals before, but he may be okay to live with another friendly cat or a calm dog, provided introductions are slow and careful. Small pets will need to be securely housed to keep everyone safe. He would love to live with a family and can live with children of any age, though he'll need time and space to settle in comfortably.
Peanut has a clean bill of health, so no major medical concerns to worry about. He does need settling in time to adjust to new environments, as he can be initially worried.
Peanut will need inside and outside access once he's settled into his new home. Introductions to the outside should be gradual, ideally through a garden rather than directly onto a road for his safety. Where possible, prioritize garden access to ease his transition to outdoor exploration.
