Abbacchio is a bit nervous of new people but is getting there with time. He is a shy boy but is curious and will have a play with his string toys as well. He would prefer a more grown up home which would give them some time and space to find their way and really bond with their new humans. He just needs an understanding home and once you have made friends you'll be ready to take over the world. Abbacchio arrived at Mayhew at the beginning of November after there were too many cats and the owner was not coping. Four have since found new homes so its just Abbacchio left. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. This litter of Kittens were originally from a multi-cat household where they were part of a colony living in both the house & garden. They were ear tipped whilst neutered with us as they were originally going to be re-released to their colony, however, the owner decided to sign them over to our care. This procedure does not affect the cats health wise. Abbacchio had a wormy tummy but that has been treated now and is all back to normal.
