Alex is a gorgeous eight month old girl who just loves to get involved in all the action. She will usually come over to say hello and then proceed to give you some friendly head bumps, proving she's not shy about making the first move. She enjoys her fuss and will even jump on your shoulders when you bend down to give her some food, offering a purrfect perch for a curious companion. She is a real character who has lots of love to give and in return you'll get lots of cuddles back. She likes to play and could live with kids who'll let her do her thing as she can be a little bit worried by loud noises.
Alex arrived at Mayhew in mid February after she was found as a stray. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
During her stay we have noticed she has some juvenile gingivitis which is a form of gum inflammation seen in young cats as their adult teeth develop. This needs to be monitored and in most cases usually gets better as the cat gets older and things settle down as the adult teeth come through.
If Alex is your kind of gal, keep reading to see if you could be her purrfect match and give her the fur ever home she deserves. She is ready to leave with all standard care completed, including microchipping, neutering, flea and worming treatment, and vaccinations (at least first), plus 4 weeks free pet insurance.
