Bugs is a gentle little soul who is looking to find a loving home where he can find his feet. He arrived at Mayhew at the end of February after he was abandoned outside of Mayhew, but he's ready to leave that behind and start a new chapter. A bit shy at first, Bugs takes his time to warm up, but once he gets to know you, he reveals his very affectionate side. He loves his chin rubs and head scratches, and when he feels safe and sound, he'll come over to say hello, make some biscuits, and hang out. You'll be asking him "What's up Doc" and he'll respond with some big purrs and slow blinks, a sure sign he's made a house a home. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team, ensuring he's in tip-top shape for his new family. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Plus, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance, because we believe in starting things off on the right paw.
Bugs has some mild gingivitis which he is currently having some treatment for. The treatment goes in his food, so it's easy to administer and should hopefully help any inflammation from getting any worse. He also had a clean and polish of his teeth to help as well. The gingivitis just needs to be monitored in his new home, but he is happy in himself and can't wait to find a happy home. No major concerns here, just a little extra TLC to keep his smile bright.
