Herbie is a gentle boy who likes to take a laid back approach in life. This little love bug adores spending his time cuddled up with his favourite people, and he's a big fan of head scratches! Lazy days in bed are his absolute favourite, and he has a real talent for finding the nicest cozy spots with the softest blankets to spend his afternoons. He can be a little bit worried at times, but just needs some gentle love to help him feel safe. Tasty snacks are the easiest way to win him over, and with a few meaty sticks, you can quickly become best friends with Herbie.
This sweetie arrived at Mayhew towards the middle of January after being abandoned in our Reception. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance. Herbie has had some dental treatment while at Mayhew from which he has recovered well. Whilst in our care, Herbie developed symptoms of cat flu which included watery eyes. He has been treated for this and recovered well.
