Miffy is a sweet little bunny who enjoys the company of all her friends. Fuss is her favourite thing, and she will greet her friends by rubbing around your legs and giving plenty of head bumps! Other favourite pass times include eating snacks and playing with her favourite pea toy! Despite her friendly nature, she does have a sensitive side and would probably prefer a more mature home that will give her the time she needs to settle until she is ready to venture out of the burrow and graze in the comfort of her new home. Miffy arrived at Mayhew at the middle of November after she was brought in as a stray with her kittens. She has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Miffy is a sweet and energetic girl who loves a bit of fuss. She'd be perfect for someone who wants a friendly and affectionate cat. She is very well behaved and learns quickly. She is a very smart girl and has settled in really well.
Miffy has been diagnosed with feline asthma and is being treated with steroid tablets which are reducing her symptoms. She is being gradually trained to accept an inhaler which is often used for long term management of asthma in cats. For Miffy, her symptoms have included coughing episodes and some sneezing/ congestion. We can offer further advice on her condition at the point of adoption, and for now things are just being monitored, but she appears to be stable, happy, and bright and ready to find a new place to call home.
