Funky Onion is an energetic little kitten with a zing for life. This little shallot had a hard start in life, but with dedicated care from her foster carer, she has grown into a mighty cat with many layers. This playful girl will make a toy out of anything, and her curious nature makes her great for investigating the patch. When she's all tuckered out, she settles down and cuddles up with her foster carer for a good snooze, and is so sweet she could bring even the strongest people to tears. This assertive girl is looking to jump into a salad mix where her flavors can steal the show. Onion arrived at Mayhew at the beginning of February as a newborn kitten who was found alongside her stray mum. She has been behaviorally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Her foster carer adds: Onion is a typical kitten; very playful, energetic, and curious, and is also hugely confident. I think she's quite clever; she worked out some games very quickly, and already understands no, but doesn't always obey! She's friendly and inquisitive with visitors, loves her toys, particularly wand toys and kickers. She's recently discovered sunbathing and loves it! After racing around and sorting the world out to her liking, she'll eat, and then settle down on my lap for a long nap. Or steal my spot on the sofa! She's great fun to have around.
Onion has received all necessary medical care from our veterinary team, including any required treatments. She will be microchipped, neutered, and given flea and worming treatment, along with at least her first vaccinations, before adoption. She comes with 4 weeks of free pet insurance for added peace of mind.
