Speedwagon is ready to embark on his next bizarre adventure, and he's looking for some company to join his formidable team. This loyal boy loves to spend time with his friends on the sofa, always cuddled up against them. Next to people, his second favorite thing in the world is food, and the quickest way to find a place in his heart is through a big dinner! He enjoys exploring and playing, and when the day is done, he will happily tell you all about it with lots of meows. He can be a little worried at times, so he's looking for a laid back, mature home that can give him the space he needs to find his feet. Speedwagon arrived at Mayhew towards the end of January after he was found as a stray cat last year. He has been behaviorally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team.
Speedwagon has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This means he has a weaker immune system, so you need to be proactive with care as he may need a helping hand from time to time sooner if he was to be poorly. He has also had some dental work including extractions of several teeth alongside a clean and polish of the remaining ones he has. Knowing that he has FIV means he will need to find a home in either a large indoor setting or ideally one with an enclosed garden.
All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
