Steven's train spotting days came to an abrupt end after a tangle on the tracks recently, but this eight month old charmer hasn't let a little thing like a life altering adventure slow him down. Rescued by Mayhew at the end of January after being electrocuted on the line, he's a loving soul who is shockingly friendly, proving that resilience comes with a purr. He's the ultimate tail half full kind of guy, always ready to come over and say hello with enthusiastic head bumps and a penchant for lap sitting. This very sweet young man hasn't let any neurological issues get him down; despite being a bit wobbly, he remains agile and curious, eager to explore the world around him with a spirit that's nothing short of inspiring.
He could possibly live with kids who'll let him do his thing and be respectful to his needs, as our Stevie is a real wonder. So, if master Steven has lit a spark in your heart, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves. He arrived at Mayhew after being rescued from the train tracks and has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations, at least first. Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
He had a very severe tail injury which has meant his tail has been amputated. The shock received may have caused some neurological issues, but he gets about fine, and he is Deaf, which could explain why he got caught out on the train tracks. He needs no treatment for anything, but things should be monitored in the home to ensure his comfort and safety.
Steven is ready to meet his future family at Mayhew. All adoptions include microchipping, neutering, flea and worming treatment, vaccinations (at least first), and 4 weeks free pet insurance. Come see if this sweet young man is the missing piece to your puzzle.
