Sufferin' succotash, did somebody say Sylvester the puddy tat? Tweety Pie may be nowhere in sight, but this handsome fluffball is a gentle boy looking for a nice, chilled out home. He normally comes over to say hello when you meet him and enjoys some fuss and playtime. He can be a bit worried by loud noises and will retreat to his hidey spot, but when the coast is clear, he always comes back for more. He would enjoy a nice grown up home where he can get to know you and show you what he's all about away from his hijinks with a certain yellow birdie. Sylvester arrived at Mayhew at the end of February after he had been abandoned outside of Mayhew. He has been behaviourally assessed by our cattery staff and given any medical treatment required by our veterinary team. All cats leave our care microchipped, neutered, and have been given flea and worming treatment as well as any vaccinations (at least first). Lastly, every cat adopted from us will also go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Sylvester has some mild gingivitis which he is currently having some treatment for. It goes in his food so is easy to administer and should hopefully help any inflammation from getting any worse. He also had a clean and polish of his teeth to help as well. Lastly, he has a chipped canine tooth but it is stable and does not need extraction. Things just need to be monitored in his new home, but he is happy in himself and can't wait to find a happy home.
